Sort by "Newest" or "Last updated" - bring new comments to the top

The sorting behavior is very lacking. It should behave like a forum - in which if there is any activity - that topic should come to the top. Currently the way it is - all new comments get lost and never seen.

"Last updated" - doesn't bring the topic back to the top if a comment was added. It only brings it to the top if the user changed their original text.

"Newest" - doesn't take into account comments.

There should be an option for something like "Last activity". So users can see a topic bubble back into the top of the view into which a comment was just added.

"Last updated" does what you need. It bring the topic back to the top if a comment was added or topic status was changed.

Try it.

Thanks Vladimir, but this IS a bug, I have tried it, and here is a proof example for you to see for yourself. I just posted a new comment to the following topic. You can see the comment by me.

http://sublimetext.userecho.com/topic/160948-user-preferences-file-read-only-also-what-are-the-available-color-schemes/

Now you can go to the main page and "Sort by Last Updated". The Topic is nowhere to be seen:

Topics are NOT coming back up to the top. Thank you.

Okay, it seems it is working now. I finallly see that topic at the top now. I made the comment "9 hours ago" and it is now showing the original topic as updated "1 hour ago". So it seems it took 8 hours in this case for the servers to detect the topic as being updated and to bring the topic back to the top. 8 hours not an ideal response time.

It's a bug that we are  fixing now.
