Translation in odd status for userecho

Hello,

I observed a strange thing on the translation web site (translate.userecho.com) for French.

  1. I received a notification that all my translations where accepted
  2. The counters now show the value "1" for the status "Needs review"
  3. Nevertheless, when you browse all the strings, you can see several strings with an "Orange arrow" icon (than normally means "Needs review", no?)

Is it normal to have more strings at above point #3 than at point #2?

How the few remaining strings of point #3 could change statuses and become validated?

Regards.

Hello Ryann,

"Needs review" shows untranslated phrases only (with some not reviewed translation). If the phrase already has translation (even if it aslo have a new suggestions) it appears in "Translated" section.

When we do review we use another way. We click on suggested translations under a user and review it.

Hi,

Recent updates to improve existing translations lead to the same strange effect:

- orange counter says "0 needs review"

- but two modifications are nevertheless in orange status (does it mean "needs review"?)

Do you understand why?

Hello Ryann,

Yes, we do. Because "Needs review" shows count of sentences with no approved translations! This two translations sentences already have translations (even if you posted new ones). We do check them via another interface where we see all new translations and make decision to approve or not.

We've approved your translations.

OK, I see your last action managed to validate a bit more to get 100%

There remain now only 3 strings with "Orange arrow" status (representing my corrections):

Hope you'll find.

Regards.

Done.

Translated is already approved translations.

We do not see any suggested translations from you.

Try to remove and save it again. They should appear for us.

OK, I understand from your explanation that there is a difference between the orange counter named "Needs review" (Upper right) and the number of strings with the orange arrow icon.

But what do you mean by "Translated" section (you just mean that such strings count as translated?)

Then, remains my last question: how to get validated those strings (with orange arrow icons), that most of them are corrections of my own previous translations but that I corrected?
