Extra Shown

The first knowledge base category shows as: History. Nothing is there, so why show it? Yesterday morning, American History was the first category shown and no categories showed unless they had posts to show. Now, even empty categories show. Can you please fix that so only categories that have real posts, show? No History, no Number Theory, nothing that doesn't have something specifically written. I only have sub categories of History written, I never posted directly under History itself.
