Jira Integration recommended Authentication.

Hi,

We have Jira Server (on-prem) V 7.3.1, and we already tested Jira integration by using User/pass and Jira's URL.


What authentication do you recommend for this setup, OAuth have any advantages? 


Would you mind to elaborate the differences between this two different authentication methods?

Both methods works for now and there is no difference for us. But seems like Jira is deprecating user/pass method by December 1st. So, we would recommend you to try OAuth as well.
