Problem with one translation

I discovered a strange thing with one translation (because it was not displayed in French).

As you can see in the next snapshot concerning French translation:
- the counters display that all strings are translated and reviewed, and no strings need review.
- nevertheless the one listed under those counters has an orange icon (meaning needs review)
and is indeed not yet accepted and not displayed in the web pages.

Is there a bug?

Hi Ryann,
This sentence has 2 translations. 1 approved and 1 yours under review.
That's why you didn't see it in Needs review (because it has already approved translation).
But when you see translations at first you see your own translation (that now under review) and you can see the other translations on the right side panel.

We have approved your translation now.

Yes, that's exactly what I noticed and what is "surprising" for a user:
- this new string is clearly in the "needs review" status (orange icon between original and translation)
- BUT at the same time, the global counters (see upper right) says there is zero (0) string that needs review

As I understand from your explanation that the "Needs review" orange counter does not count the "Needs review" strings (with orange icon) when they already have a first translation, it's not a bug.

But it's really strange for a translator that can submit a bunch of corrected translations (that clearly will need review), but none of these strings under review before being accepted are counted in the "Needs review" statistics...
(Then this ticket should have been a "new idea" for the way of counting instead of a "bug" ;-) )

Ryann, we have understood the problem and will think how to improve it.
Just one more explanation:
We have 1983 phrases (on screenshot). And all of them is translated. That's why we show translated: 1983 and all 1983. Untranslated 0 and needs review 0. Because actually it already translated and approved and doesn't need review. (We are talking about phrases, not translations!)

But, each phrase can has more than 1 translation. Some of them can be approved, some don't. And we see it in our interface for review. Other people can see it on the right side when the phrase is selected.

If we will show all translations counts it will be more then all phrases count. :)

Yes, I realize that this is beyond my understanding!
But I trust you: I'm sure you'll make the right choices, as you used to design and implement incredibly amazing features for UserEcho !!!
Thank you very much for your time and your tool !
