Status update should create a new reply

When a new update is made to topic, it shows at the top. I manually have to create a duplicate to have it as a reply in the thread body to keep chronology.
Can it be automatic? Status update should show at the bottom as well.

So it places admin comments into time context, while keeping as well the latest at the top.

Hello JDB. Thank you for visual representation.

But I think it will not always work, because we use nested comments. Newer comments may fall under the old status. Comments are sorted by time only the top level, but within each comment branch has its own sorting.

It would be fine just at the top level, since status updates generally refer to the main topic rather than to a nested conversation. Usually the person deeply interested in a topic wants to see chronological evolution, and currently status updates are like abstracted from the time line. You get my idea?
