how do i post an idea?

i see there are tabs for ideas, thanks, bugs, etc. for the feedback button on my website. But it won't let me post? are admins the only ones allowed to post? that wouldn't make sense, why would we sign up for this then?

thanks! so it's a little not intuitive bc i didn't know that after the fact i will have a chance to categorize it. if you don't know this ahead of time, you wouldn't figure that out. thank you!

Yeah, I don't like this functionality. Is there a setting somewhere to allow users to post from the get go or do they always have to search first?

When you leave feedback, you just start writing the title of your idea, not a search feedback. The search is going automatically in the background. It is preventing the feedback duplicates.
If we skip the search before post feedback, you will have much more duplicates of the same feedback.
