Hide/remove default status(es)?
Is it possible to hide or remove some of the default statuses? We do not want to use all of the default status values, so we need a way to hide/remove them.

You can do it, but it not so easy.
1. You should setup own topic types (or duplicate current like your own) and disable all default topic types.
2. For the own types you are able to disable default statuses. Also you can add your own statuses.
