Mandatory fields, auto entry& other 'can you' questions

  • Is it possible to have some fields marked as mandatory?
  • When someone opens a new idea or topic, can we automatically append his/her details that we know from his/her user profile? e.g. email address, operational area, manager's name.
  • How do you search using date variables? eg Topics posted last week, Topics posted this month
  • How do you edit the auto emails that the system generates?
  • When looking at the multi topic tabbed view, can we add other filters alongside status and tags?

Each topic already linked with person who created it. Do you need the same fields to be available directly within topic?

  • How do you search using date variables? eg Topics posted last week, Topics posted this month

At this moment it’s possible to set sorting to the Last updated or Newest to see Topic list in this order. But search results displayed, with order by relevance.

  • How do you edit the auto emails that the system generates?

It’s possible to set custom footer and custom “from:” here http://newhorizons.userecho.com/settings/features/notification/

Give us example of such filters. You need to filter by Custom fields?

Hello Anette,


I'm not sure whether you can attain more information that what UserEcho systems COULD require in settings, you will need to wait for Sergey on that one. This may not help, but have you tried requiring sign in? You'll attain IP address, e-mail and browser he was using. Setup ---> Forums ---> Privacy. When someone posts you click More ---> Additional information. I probably didn't help, but I hope I gave some ideas. Let's wait for Sergey. He can help you better.
