Users are not allowed to enter a private forum..

I created a forum and made it private on my trial Power account. Now when i invite people to test the forum, they are able to get the invite & create their accounts, but are blocked from access to the forum since i have marked it private.
Is the meaning of private forum --> Allow users whose email i have specified access to the forum? if i make a forum public, any user who knows the URL will be able to see all the postings which is not desirable.

Pls help me resolve this.

You have added 2 private users (without you): vshenoy... and sumashrik...
But registered only 1 user vshenoy. Does he have access to the forum?

Vladimir,
Look at chandra.userecho.com project. Here I have invited 4 users and 2 users registered (I used another email and invited my self), but we see the "this forum is private" message if i make this forum private.

Sandeep, I checked it but found only one login problem (ranuar...). This account not activated and email not confirmed.
If problem not resolved please make a private forum and temporarily invite me to the forum. I will check everything.

Vladimir, your email id is already registered on this site, so you would not get an invite email now right ? So dont know if you would see the same issue. privateForums.userecho.com is the new forum i created for our test.

Sandeep, also you can use domain mask like '@yourdomain.com'. All users with the emails of the domain will have access to the forum.

Will all users of the domian say @ibm.com get an invite email ?

Vladimir, also is it possible for me to "lock" a forum once say a beta test feedback collection is done so that only admins will be able to access / see all postings in that forum?
