When merging 2 topics, usually one of them title and content is more representative than the other.
So ther should be an option to pick which of the topics will persist as the main one.

How would you rate the customer service you received?

You are able to do it right now. In the merging window you have two tabs. Firs if you want to use current topic as a duplicate. Second if you want to use current topic as original.

Two issues with that:

1. It should be listed as a comment of the parent topic (but you need to click on the "1 duplicate" in order to see it)
2. You can never read the body text of the duplicated, you can just read the title.

Ok, but think there is an issue.
After merging, the comment of the topic that resulted as "child" of the other, it is not listed as a comment con the parent.
See this is the parent topic, but the comment of the duplicate is not listed as comment.
Hi JDB,
We have checked duplicated topic (501198). It has no comments at all. That's why they are not shown in the parent topic after merging.
