Links in email notifications not working!

Email notification links to .pdf files or other links embedded in the posts do not work. Instead of the URL starting with our Forum address they just start with download/.... which results in an error and no page showing up. 

Are you aware of this / fixing it currently? If not how long do you think until it will be fixed? I get a lot of messages letting me know of the problem every time a notification with a link goes out which can be frustrating explaining to individual people why it is happening.
