Small suggestion: use "UserEcho" as the sender name instead of "userecho notifications", otherwise the whole name may not render properly. See this snapshot (taken from my hipchat app) for an example:
When you creating Room token, label it as you want. API will use this label as poster name.

It works if I get a personal token from there, but I would like to use a room token instead (also within API v2.0) so that the messages don't appear as generated from me personally. Here are more details about the different type of tokens supported: https://www.hipchat.com/docs/apiv2/auth
We have added support for Room tokens, you can get it from you Room settings.
Select: Room->Your room name->Tokens and create token for it.

Thanks Sergey. I just tried configuring it (scrapinghub.userecho.com) but it doesn't work. When I click the button "Check integration" it says "FAILED".
