Add additional information to issues created by widget

Hello,

We would like to add additional meta information to the issues reported by the widget, like the customer identifier, the URL of the page the customer is currently on, etc. We could do this via the API, if we created our own form, but we like the UserEcho form created by the widget and would prefer to continue using it. Is there a way to hook into the widget code, perhaps, to get the issue created by the widget in JS and add our additional information? If we could have access to an un-minified version of the widget.js code we could figure it out ourselves :).

Thanks,

Lukman

Hello,

We've extended our SSO method to accept parameters for the topic custom fields. Also we've added some new ways to pass information to the topic.

More information in this article.

Hello Lukman,

We do have the same request from another our client. They would like to fill out a topic's custom fields. We have an idea ho to implement this feature but we didn't start it yet. We will let you know when this task will be done.

Also if you would like to send a user Info, just do SSO authentication for a user in your widget.

Our un-minified version of widget.js will not help you because we have no this option for now.
