Cannot have support for both SAML and traditional login

We tried having support for both traditional login with email and password and for SAML SSO login, but when the login type in the login settings was still in Sign-in/sign-up, we kept getting errors when using the SSO login at the top, whereas chosing SAML redirect with the exact same settings worked perfectly.

Hello, please provide some details to clarify.

1) At this time when user opens your UserEcho project, UserEcho performs redirect to the your SAML auth page(on your side)

2) You want instead redirect, UserEcho will open standard auth popup with ability to sign in via email or SAML? Like on the screenshot below?

Alright, got it! Thank you!

We've added this option and set up in your account. Now you have a SAML buttopn in the form with login and password.

We've checked it with the OneLogin service. We cannot check it with Microsoft right now, so, waiting your feedback.

Yes, that would be ideal. I tried using the "Sign in/Sign up form" option in my login settings but then when I did, the link to the SAML page ended up throwing errors.

Hello,

First, SSO and SAML are two different way to authenticate your users.

In your case you need SAML. so. you do not need to setup SSO.

We do support SSO + UE login/password authentication.

We do not not support SAML + UE login/password authentication, because we have no client who needs both of them. You are first.

So, we will try to implement this case and let you know if it will work.
