I used the useful "pin" reply/comment function to raise the visibility of one of the important Comments in a Question Topic; but it had the undesired side-effect of titling it "Answered".
Shouldn't we be able to pin a comment distinctly from marking it answered? Indeed, I have not selected the Answer flag...

When we made the "Pin" option we thought it could be helpful if you need to pin to top more than one comment. Usually all them are answers. So, we put them to the answers section.
If you want to use "Pin" for something else you can try to add some separator between them with CustomCSS or CustomScript.

Definitely seems reasonable. It's just that since you already have the "star" (and "Answer" option in Edit) to mark an "Answer", I figured "pin" should not overlap in behavior."
Since, most times, when you pin a comment, you would also mark it as answer, it may be reasonable to merge the two actions into one click (= "Pin" + "Mark as an answer") to save tilme.
But, to be acceptable, for the few cases where you do not want it as an answer, then "Unmark as an answer" should be available: https://feedback.userecho.com/topics/8259-unmark-as-answer/
